## SEC. 2401 WATERSHED PROTECTION AND FLOOD PREVENTION ###
(a)Assistance to Local Organizations Section 3 of the Watershed Protection and Flood Prevention Act (16 U.S.C. 1003) is amended— ####
(1)by striking the section designation and all that follows through “ In order to assist ” and inserting the following: > > ## “SEC. SEC. 3 ASSISTANCE TO LOCAL ORGANIZATIONS > > > ### “(a) In General > > In order to assist” > ; and ####
(2)by adding at the end the following: > > ### “(b) Waiver > > The Secretary may waive the watershed plan for works of improvement if the Secretary determines that— > > > #### “(1) > > the watershed plan is unnecessary or duplicative; and > > > #### “(2) > > the works of improvement are otherwise consistent with applicable requirements under section 4.” > . ###
(b)Authorization of Appropriations Section 14(h)(2)(E) of the Watershed Protection and Flood Prevention Act (16 U.S.C. 1012(h)(2)(E)) is amended by striking “2018” and inserting “2023”. ###
(c)Funds of Commodity Credit Corporation The Watershed Protection and Flood Prevention Act (16 U.S.C. 1001 et seq.) is amended by adding at the end the following: > > ## “SEC. SEC. 15 FUNDING > > **[**[16 U.S.C. 1012a](/us/usc/t16/s1012a)**]** > > In addition to any other funds made available by this Act, of the funds of the Commodity Credit Corporation, the Secretary shall make available to carry out this Act $50,000,000 for fiscal year 2019 and each fiscal year thereafter.” > .
