## SEC. 612 ADULT AND JUVENILE COLLABORATION PROGRAMS Section 2991 of title I of the Omnibus Crime Control and Safe Streets Act of 1968 (34 U.S.C. 10651) is amended— ####
(1)in subsection (b)(4)— #####
(A)by striking subparagraph (D); and #####
(B)by redesignating subparagraph
(E)as subparagraph (D); ####
(2)in subsection (e), by striking “may use up to 3 percent” and inserting “shall use not less than 6 percent”; and ####
(3)by amending subsection
(g)to read as follows: > > ### “(g) Collaboration Set-aside > > The Attorney General shall use not less than 8 percent of funds appropriated to provide technical assistance to State and local governments receiving grants under this part to foster collaboration between such governments in furtherance of the purposes set forth in section 3 of the Mentally Ill Offender Treatment and Crime Reduction Act of 2004 (34 U.S.C. 10651 note).” > .
