## SEC. 612 TECHNICAL CORRECTION WITH RESPECT TO EXPEDITED PAYMENTS FOR HEROIC PUBLIC SAFETY OFFICERS Section 1 of Public Law 107-37 (an Act to provide for the expedited payment of certain benefits for a public safety officer who was killed or suffered a catastrophic injury as a direct and proximate result of a personal injury sustained in the line of duty in connection with the terrorist attacks of September 11, 2001) is amended by— ####

(1)inserting before “by a” the following: “(containing identification of all eligible payees of benefits pursuant to section 1201)”; ####

(2)inserting “producing permanent and total disability” after “suffered a catastrophic injury”; and ####

(3)striking “1201(a)” and inserting “1201”.
