## SEC. 1009 STUDY OF ACCESS ###
(a)In General Not later than 120 days after enactment of this Act, the Federal Bureau of Investigation shall study and report to Congress on the feasibility of providing to airlines access via computer to the names of passengers who are suspected of terrorist activity by Federal officials. ###
(b)Authorization There are authorized to be appropriated not more than $250,000 to carry out subsection (a). **[**Section 1010 was repealed by section 812(b)(53) of division A of Public Law 115-232. Such amendment incorrectly references the short title of this Act as the “USA Patriot Act of 2001” rather than the “USA Patriot Act”; however, it was carried out according to the probable intent of Congress.**]**
