## SEC. 709 ASSESSMENTS OF FINAL REPORT **[**[50 U.S.C. 3001](/us/usc/t50/s3001) nt**]** Not later than 60 days after receipt of the final report under section 708(a), the Director of Central Intelligence and the Secretary of Defense shall each submit to the congressional intelligence committees an assessment by the Director or the Secretary, as the case may be, of the final report. Each assessment shall include such comments on the findings and recommendations contained in the final report as the Director or Secretary, as the case may be, considers appropriate.
