## SEC. 807 ENHANCEMENT OF AUTHORITY OF DIRECTOR OF CENTRAL INTELLIGENCE TO MANAGE BUDGET, PERSONNEL, AND ACTIVITIES OF INTELLIGENCE COMMUNITY ###
(a)**[**Section 807(a) amends section 103(c) of the National Security Act of 1947 (50 U.S.C. 403–3(c)).**]** ###
(b)**[**Section 807(b) amends section 104(c) of the National Security Act of 1947 (50 U.S.C. 403–4(c)).**]** ###
(c)Periodic Reports on Expenditures **[**[50 U.S.C. 3024](/us/usc/t50/s3024) nt**]** Not later than January 1, 1997, the Director of Central Intelligence and the Secretary of Defense shall prescribe guidelines to ensure prompt reporting to the Director and the Secretary on a periodic basis of budget execution data for all national, defense-wide, and tactical intelligence activities. ###
(d)Database Program Tracking **[**[50 U.S.C. 3024](/us/usc/t50/s3024) nt**]** Not later than January 1, 1999, the Director of Central Intelligence and the Secretary of Defense shall develop and implement a database to provide timely and accurate information on the amounts, purposes, and status of the resources, including periodic budget execution updates, for all national, defense-wide, and tactical intelligence activities. ###
(e)Personnel, Training, and Administrative Activities **[**[50 U.S.C. 403–4](/us/usc/t50/s403–4) nt**]** Not later than January 31 of each year through 1999, the Director of Central Intelligence shall submit to the Select Committee on Intelligence of the Senate and the Permanent Select Committee on Intelligence of the House of Representatives a report on the policies and programs the Director has instituted under subsection
(f)of section 104 of the National Security Act of 1947.
