## SEC. 707 OTHER REQUIREMENTS TO PROMOTE PARTICIPATION OF OVERSEAS AND ABSENT UNIFORMED SERVICES VOTERS Section 102 of the Uniformed and Overseas Citizens Absentee Voting Act (42 U.S.C. 1973ff-1), as amended by the preceding provisions of this title, is amended by adding at the end the following new subsection: > > ### “(d) Registration Notification > > With respect to each absent uniformed services voter and each overseas voter who submits a voter registration application or an absentee ballot request, if the State rejects the application or request, the State shall provide the voter with the reasons for the rejection.” > . # TITLE VIII TRANSITION PROVISIONS ## Subtitle A Transfer to Commission of Functions Under Certain Laws
