## SEC. 824 CONTRACT CLOSEOUT AUTHORITY **[**[10 U.S.C. 2302 note](/us/usc/t10/s2302)**]** Section 836(b)(1) of the National Defense Authorization Act for Fiscal Year 2017 (Public Law 114-328; 130 Stat. 2286) is amended by striking “entered into prior to fiscal year 2000” and inserting “entered into on a date that is at least 17 fiscal years before the current fiscal year”.
