## SEC. 715 MODIFICATION OF EXECUTION OF TRICARE CONTRACTING RESPONSIBILITIES **[**[10 U.S.C. 1073a note](/us/usc/t10/s1073a)**]** Subsection

(b)of section 705 of the National Defense Authorization Act for Fiscal Year 2017 (Public Law 114-328) is amended to read as follows: > > ### “(b) Execution of Contracting Responsibility > > With respect to any acquisition of managed care support services under the TRICARE program initiated after the date of the enactment of the National Defense Authorization Act for Fiscal Year 2018, the Under Secretary of Defense for Acquisition and Sustainment shall be responsible for— > > > #### “(1) > > decisions relating to such acquisition; > > > #### “(2) > > approving the acquisition strategy; and > > > #### “(3) > > conducting pre-solicitation, pre-award, and post-award acquisition reviews.” > .
