## SEC. 553 REPORT ON EDUCATIONAL OPPORTUNITIES IN SCIENCE, TECHNOLOGY, ENGINEERING, AND MATHEMATICS FOR CHILDREN WHO ARE DEPENDENTS OF MEMBERS OF THE ARMED FORCES Not later than two years after the date of the enactment of this Act, the Secretary of Defense shall submit to the congressional defense committees a report containing a description and assessment of— ####
(1)current Department of Defense programs intended to improve educational opportunities and achievement in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics for children who are dependents of members of the Armed Forces; and ####
(2)Department of Defense efforts to increase opportunities and achievement in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics for children who are dependents of members of the Armed Forces. ### PART II MILITARY FAMILY READINESS MATTERS
