## SEC. 1216 HUMAN RIGHTS VETTING OF AFGHAN NATIONAL DEFENSE AND SECURITY FORCES **[**[10 U.S.C. 362 note](/us/usc/t10/s362)**]** The Secretary of Defense may establish within the Department of Defense one or more permanent positions to oversee and support, in coordination with the Department of State, the implementation of section 362 of title 10, United States Code, with respect to the Afghan National Defense and Security Forces. ## Subtitle C Matters Relating to Syria, Iraq, and Iran
