## SEC. 1070 BRIEFING ON PRIOR ATTEMPTED RUSSIAN CYBER ATTACKS AGAINST DEFENSE SYSTEMS Not later than 90 days after the date of the enactment of this Act, the Secretary of Defense, in coordination with the Director of National Intelligence, shall provide to the Committees on Armed Services of the Senate and House of Representatives a briefing on all attempts to breach, intrude, or otherwise hack into Department of Defense systems that— ####

(1)occurred during the last 24-month period ending on the date of the enactment of this Act; and ####

(2)were attributable either to the government of the Russian Federation or actors substantially supported by the government of the Russian Federation.
