## SEC. 507 MODIFICATION OF AUTHORITY TO DROP FROM ROLLS A COMMISSIONED OFFICER Section 1161(b) of title 10, United States Code, is amended by inserting “or the Secretary of Defense, or in the case of a commissioned officer of the Coast Guard, the Secretary of the department in which the Coast Guard is operating when it is not operating in the Navy,” after “President”.
