## SEC. 1525 EXTENSION AND MODIFICATION OF AUTHORITIES ON COUNTERTERRORISM PARTNERSHIPS FUND ###
(a)Extension Section 1534 of the Carl Levin and Howard P. “Buck” McKeon National Defense Authorization Act for Fiscal Year 2015 (Public Law 113-291; 128 Stat. 3616) is amended— ####
(1)in subsection (a), by striking “Amounts authorized to be appropriated for fiscal year 2015 by this title” and inserting “Subject to subsection (b), amounts authorized to be appropriated through fiscal year 2017”; and ####
(2)in subsection (h), by striking “December 31, 2016” and inserting “December 31, 2017”. ###
(b)Limitation on Use of Funds Authorized for Fiscal Year 2016 Such section is further amended— ####
(1)by redesignating subsections
(b)through
(h)as subsections
(c)through (i), respectively; and ####
(2)by inserting after subsection
(a)the following new subsection (b): > > ### “(b) Limitation on Use of Funds Authorized for Fiscal Year 2016 > > Amounts authorized to be appropriated for fiscal year 2016 for the Counterterrorism Partnerships Fund may only be used for the purposes specified in subsection (a)(2). In the use of such amounts, any reference in this section to ‘subsection (a)’ shall be deemed to be a reference to ‘subsection (a)(2)’.” > . ###
(c)Administration of Fund Subsection
(e)of such section, as redesignated by subsection (b)(1) of this section, is amended— ####
(1)by striking paragraph (3); and ####
(2)by redesignating paragraphs (4), (5), and
(6)as paragraphs (3), (4), and (5), respectively. ###
(d)Reports Subsection
(h)of such section, as redesignated by subsection (b)(1) of this section, is amended— ####
(1)in the matter preceding paragraph (1)— #####
(A)by striking “and 2017” and inserting “2017, and 2018”; and #####
(B)by striking “and 2016” and inserting “2016, and 2017”; ####
(2)in paragraph (4), by striking “subsection (d)(5)” and inserting “subsection (e)(4)”; and ####
