## SEC. 1271 MODIFICATION OF ANNUAL REPORT ON MILITARY AND SECURITY DEVELOPMENTS INVOLVING THE PEOPLE’S REPUBLIC OF CHINA ###

(a)Annual Report Subsection

(a)of section 1202 of the National Defense Authorization Act for Fiscal Year 2000 (Public Law 106-65; 113 Stat. 781; 10 U.S.C. 113 note) is amended by striking “March 1 each year” and inserting “January 31 of each year through January 31, 2021”. ###

(b)Matters To Be Included Subsection

(b)of such section, as most recently amended by section 1252(a) of the Carl Levin and Howard P. “ Buck ” McKeon National Defense Authorization Act for Fiscal Year 2015 (Public Law 113-291; 128 Stat. 3571), is further amended by adding at the end the following: > > #### “(21) > > A summary of the order of battle of the People’s Liberation Army, including anti-ship ballistic missiles, theater ballistic missiles, and land attack cruise missile inventory. > > > #### “(22) > > A description of the People’s Republic of China’s military and nonmilitary activities in the South China Sea.” > . ###

(c)Effective Date **[**[10 U.S.C. 113 note](/us/usc/t10/s113)**]** The amendments made by this section take effect on the date of the enactment of this Act and apply with respect to reports required to be submitted under subsection

(a)of section 1202 of the National Defense Authorization Act for Fiscal Year 2000 on or after that date.
