## SEC. 1107 TEMPORARY INCREASE IN MAXIMUM AMOUNT OF VOLUNTARY SEPARATION INCENTIVE PAY AUTHORIZED FOR CIVILIAN EMPLOYEES OF THE DEPARTMENT OF DEFENSE **[**[5 U.S.C. 9902 note](/us/usc/t5/s9902)**]** During the period beginning on the date of enactment of this Act and ending on September 30, 2021, section 9902(f)(5)(A)(ii) of title 5, United States Code, shall be applied by substituting “an amount determined by the Secretary, not to exceed $40,000” for “$25,000”.
