## SEC. 274 INCLUSION OF SECRETARY OF THE TREASURY ON THE NATIONAL SECURITY COUNCIL ###
(a)In General Section 101(c)(1) of the National Security Act of 1947 ([50 U.S.C. 3021(c)(1)](/us/usc/t50/s3021/c/1)) is amended by inserting “the Secretary of the Treasury,” before “and such other officers”. ###
(b)Rule of Construction **[**[50 U.S.C. 3021 note](/us/usc/t50/s3021)**]** The amendment made by subsection
(a)may not be construed to authorize the National Security Council to have a professional staff level that exceeds the limitation set forth under section 101(e)(3) of the National Security Act of 1947 ([50 U.S.C. 3021(e)(3)](/us/usc/t50/s3021/e/3)).
