## Sec. 17 assistance to automobile dealers **[**[15 U.S.C. 631 note](/us/usc/t15/s631)**]** ###
(a)The Congress finds that— ####
(1)automobile dealerships are, for the most part, small businesses, and ####
(2)current economic conditions have adversely affected automobile dealers to an unusual extent. ###
(b)The Administrator of the Small Business Administration (hereinafter in this section referred to as the “Administrator”) shall investigate the financial problems faced by small business automobile dealers and determine what assistance through loans and loan guarantees may be needed and can be made available to alleviate such problems. The Administrator shall report the results of such investigation to the Senate and the House of Representatives not later than sixty days after the date of the enactment of this Act.
