## SEC. 31 ADDITIONAL CONTRIBUTION TO SPECIAL FUNDS **[**[22 U.S.C. 285bb](/us/usc/t22/s285bb)**]** ###
(a)Contribution Authority ####
(1)In general The United States Governor of the Bank may contribute on behalf of the United States an amount equal to the amount appropriated under subsection (b), pursuant to the resolution of the Bank entitled “Seventh Replenishment of the Asian Development Fund”. ####
(2)Subject to appropriations Any commitment to make the contribution authorized by paragraph
(1)shall be effective only to such extent or in such amounts as are provided in advance in appropriations Acts. ###
(b)Limitations on Authorization of Appropriations For the contribution authorized by subsection (a), there are authorized to be appropriated such sums as may be necessary for payment by the Secretary of the Treasury, without fiscal year limitation.1 1The amendment provided for in section 599C(c) of Public Law 109–102 does not execute. The instruction states that “...the Asian Development Fund Act, Public Law 92–245, as amended (22 U.S.C. 285 et seq.), is further amended by adding at the end thereof the following new section:” and adds a new section 32. The amendment incorrectly cites the Act short title, which should have been made to the “Asian Development Bank Act”. Also, the reference to Public Law 92–245 should have been made to Public Law 89–369. Section 32 provides: ``SEC. 32. **[**[22 U.S.C. 285cc](/us/usc/t22/s285cc)**]** EIGHTH REPLENISHMENT. ``(a) The United States Governor of the Bank is authorized to contribute on behalf of the United States $461,000,000 to the eighth replenishment of the resources of the Fund, subject to obtaining the necessary appropriations. ``(b) In order to pay for the United States contribution provided for in subsection (a), there are authorized to be appropriated, without fiscal year limitation, $461,000,000 for payment by the Secretary of the Treasury.''.
