## SEC. 14006 ASSISTANCE FOR INDIVIDUALS TRANSITIONING OUT OF SYSTEMS Section 2976(f) of title I of the Omnibus Crime Control and Safe Streets Act of 1968 (42 U.S.C. 3797w(f)) is amended— ####
(1)in paragraph (5), by striking “and” at the end; ####
(2)in paragraph (6), by striking the period at the end and inserting a semicolon; and ####
(3)by adding at the end the following: > > #### “(7) > > provide mental health treatment and transitional services for those with mental illnesses or with co-occurring disorders, including housing placement or assistance; and” > .
