## SEC. 702 UNITED STATES ADVISORY COMMISSION ON PUBLIC DIPLOMACY ###
(a)In General Section 1334 of the Foreign Affairs Reform and Restructuring Act of 1998 (22 U.S.C. 6553) is amended by striking “October 1, 2015” and inserting “October 1, 2020”. ###
(b)Retroactivity of Effective Date The amendment made by subsection
(a)shall take effect as of October 1, 2016. Any lapse in powers, authorities, or responsibilities of the United States Advisory Commission on Public Diplomacy from the period beginning on October 1, 2016, and ending on the date of the enactment of this Act, shall be deemed to have not so lapsed.
