## SEC. 401 AUTHORIZATION OF APPROPRIATIONS ###
(a)In General Chapter 3 of title 46, United States Code, is amended by adding at the end the following: > > ## “SEC. 308 Authorization of appropriations > > **[**[46 U.S.C. 308](/us/usc/t46/s308)**]** > > “There is authorized to be appropriated to the Federal Maritime Commission $24,700,000 for each of fiscal years 2016 and 2017 for the activities of the Commission authorized under this chapter and subtitle IV.” > . ###
(b)Clerical Amendment **[**[46 U.S.C. 301](/us/usc/t46/s301)**]** The analysis for chapter 3 of title 46, United States Code, is amended by adding at the end the following:“308. Authorization of appropriations.”.
