## SEC. 1406 ###
(a)Of the unobligated balances available to the Environmental Protection Agency under the following headings from prior appropriation Acts, the following amounts are rescinded: ####
(1)“Hazardous Substance Superfund”, $15,000,000. ####
(2)“State and Tribal Assistance Grants”, $35,000,000, as follows: #####
(A)$10,000,000 from unobligated Brownfields balances. #####
(B)$5,000,000 from unobligated categorical grant balances. #####
(C)$10,000,000 from unobligated Drinking Water State Revolving Funds balances. #####
(D)$10,000,000 from unobligated Clean Water State Revolving Funds balances. ###
(b)No amounts may be rescinded under subsection
(a)from amounts that were designated by the Congress as an emergency requirement pursuant to a concurrent resolution on the budget or the Balanced Budget and Emergency Deficit Control Act of 1985.
