## SEC. 852 CONSIDERATION OF CORROSION CONTROL IN PRELIMINARY DESIGN REVIEW **[**[10 U.S.C. 2302 note](/us/usc/t10/s2302)**]** The Under Secretary of Defense for Acquisition and Sustainment shall ensure that Department of Defense Instruction 5000.02 and other applicable guidance require full consideration, during preliminary design review for a product, of metals, materials, and technologies that effectively prevent or control corrosion over the life cycle of the product.
