## SEC. 811 EXTENSION AND MODIFICATION OF CONTRACT AUTHORITY FOR ADVANCED COMPONENT DEVELOPMENT AND PROTOTYPE UNITS Section 819 of the National Defense Authorization Act for Fiscal Year 2010 (Public Law 111-84; 123 Stat. 2409; 10 U.S.C. 2302 note) is amended— ####
(1)in subsection (a)— #####
(A)in paragraph (1), by striking “advanced component development or prototype of technology” and inserting “advanced component development, prototype, or initial production of technology”; and #####
(B)in paragraph (2), by striking “prototype items” and inserting “items”; and ####
(2)in subsection (b)— #####
(A)by redesignating paragraph
(4)as paragraph (5); #####
(B)by inserting after paragraph
(3)the following new paragraph (4): > > #### “(4) Applicability > > The authority provided in subsection
(a)applies only to the Secretary of Defense, the Secretary of the Army, the Secretary of the Navy, and the Secretary of the Air Force.” > ; and #####
(C)in paragraph (5), as so redesignated, by striking “September 30, 2014” and inserting “September 30, 2019”.
