## SEC. 501 AUTHORITY TO LIMIT CONSIDERATION FOR EARLY RETIREMENT BY SELECTIVE RETIREMENT BOARDS TO PARTICULAR WARRANT OFFICER YEAR GROUPS AND SPECIALTIES **[**[10 U.S.C. 581](/us/usc/t10/s581)**]** Section 581(d) of title 10, United States Code, is amended— ####
(1)by redesignating paragraph
(2)as paragraph (3); ####
(2)by designating the second sentence of paragraph
(1)as paragraph (2); and ####
(3)in paragraph (2), as so designated— #####
(A)by striking “ the list shall include each ” and inserting > “the list shall include— > > > ##### “(A) > > the name of each” > ; #####
(B)by striking the period at the end and inserting “; or”; and #####
(C)by adding at the end the following new subparagraph: > > ##### “(B) > > with respect to a group of warrant officers designated under subparagraph
(A)who are in a particular grade and competitive category, only those warrant officers in that grade and competitive category who are also in a particular year group or specialty, or any combination thereof determined by the Secretary concerned.” > .
