## SEC. 8039 SENSE OF CONGRESS ON RESTORATION OF STATE SOVEREIGNTY OVER PUBLIC EDUCATION Subpart 2 of part F of title VIII, as amended and redesignated by section 8001 of this Act, is further amended by adding at the end the following: > > ## “SEC. 8547 SENSE OF CONGRESS ON RESTORATION OF STATE SOVEREIGNTY OVER PUBLIC EDUCATION > > **[**[20 U.S.C. 7927](/us/usc/t20/s7927)**]** > > “It is the Sense of Congress that State and local officials should be consulted and made aware of the requirements that accompany participation in activities authorized under this Act prior to a State or local educational agency’s request to participate in such activities.” > .
