## SEC. 857 TREATMENT OF GOODS AND SERVICES PROVIDED BY NONTRADITIONAL DEFENSE CONTRACTORS AS COMMERCIAL ITEMS ###
(a)In general Chapter 140 of title 10, United States Code, as amended by section 851, is further amended by adding at the end the following new section: > > ## “SEC. 2380A Treatment of goods and services provided by nontraditional defense contractors as commercial items > > **[**[10 U.S.C. 2380A](/us/usc/t10/s2380A)**]** > > “Notwithstanding section 2376(1) of this title, items and services provided by nontraditional defense contractors (as that term is defined in section 2302(9) of this title) may be treated by the head of an agency as commercial items for purposes of this chapter.” > . ###
(b)Clerical Amendment The table of sections at the beginning of chapter 140 of such title is amended by inserting after the item relating to section 2380, as added by section 851, the following new item:" “2380A. Treatment of goods and services provided by nontraditional defense contractors as commercial items.” ". ## Subtitle F Industrial Base Matters
