## SEC. 552 AVAILABILITY OF PRESEPARATION COUNSELING FOR MEMBERS OF THE ARMED FORCES DISCHARGED OR RELEASED AFTER LIMITED ACTIVE DUTY Section 1142(a)(4) of title 10, United States Code, is amended— ####
(1)in subparagraph (A), by striking “that member’s first 180 days of active duty” and inserting “the first 180 continuous days of active duty of the member”; and ####
(2)by adding at the end the following new subparagraph: > > ##### “(C) > > For purposes of calculating the days of active duty of a member under subparagraph (A), the Secretary concerned shall exclude any day on which— > > > ###### “(i) > > the member performed full-time training duty or annual training duty; and > > > ###### “(ii) > > the member attended, while in the active military service, a school designated as a service school by law or by the Secretary concerned.” > .
