## SEC. 513 INCREASE IN NUMBER OF DAYS OF ACTIVE DUTY REQUIRED TO BE PERFORMED BY RESERVE COMPONENT MEMBERS FOR DUTY TO BE CONSIDERED FEDERAL SERVICE FOR PURPOSES OF UNEMPLOYMENT COMPENSATION FOR EX-SERVICEMEMBERS ###

(a)Increase of Number of Days Section 8521(a)(1) of title 5, United States Code, is amended by striking “90 days” in the matter preceding subparagraph

(A)and inserting “180 days”. ###

(b)Effective Date **[**[5 U.S.C. 8521 note](/us/usc/t5/s8521)**]** The amendment made by subsection

(a)shall take effect on the date of the enactment of this Act, and shall apply with respect to periods of Federal service commencing on or after that date.
