## SEC. 1605 DELEGATION OF AUTHORITY REGARDING PURCHASE OF GLOBAL POSITIONING SYSTEM USER EQUIPMENT Section 913 of the Ike Skelton National Defense Authorization Act for Fiscal Year 2011 (10 U.S.C. 2281 note) is amended by adding at the end the following new subsection: > > ### “(d) Limitation on Delegation of Waiver Authority > > The Secretary of Defense may not delegate the authority to make a waiver under subsection

(c)to an official below the level of the Secretaries of the military departments or the Under Secretary of Defense for Acquisition, Technology, and Logistics.” > .
