## SEC. 122 AMENDMENT TO COST LIMITATION BASELINE FOR CVN-78 CLASS AIRCRAFT CARRIER PROGRAM ###
(a)Cost Limitation Section 122(a)(2) of the John Warner National Defense Authorization Act for Fiscal Year 2007 (Public Law 109-364; 120 Stat. 2104), as amended by section 121(a) of the National Defense Authorization Act for Fiscal Year 2014 (Public Law 113-66; 127 Stat. 691), is further amended by striking “$11,498,000,000” and inserting “$11,398,000,000”. ###
(b)Factor for Adjustment Subsection
(b)of such section 122, as amended by section 121(b)(1) of the National Defense Authorization Act for Fiscal Year 2014, is amended by adding at the end the following new paragraph: > > #### “(8) > > With respect to the aircraft carrier designated as CVN-79, the amounts of increases not exceeding $100,000,000 if the Chief of Naval Operations determines that achieving the amount set forth in subsection (a)(2) (as amended by section 122(a) of the National Defense Authorization Act for Fiscal Year 2016) would result in unacceptable reductions to the operational capability of the ship.” > .
