## SEC. 568 AUTHORIZATION FOR AWARD OF THE DISTINGUISHED-SERVICE CROSS FOR ACTS OF VALOR DURING THE KOREAN AND VIETNAM WARS ###
(a)Sergeant First Class Robert F. Keiser ####
(1)Waiver of time limitations Notwithstanding the time limitations specified in section 3744 of title 10, United States Code, or any other time limitation with respect to the awarding of certain medals to persons who served in the Armed Forces, the Secretary of the Army may award the Distinguished-Service Cross under section 3742 of such title to Sergeant First Class Robert F. Keiser for the acts of valor described in paragraph
(2)during the Korean War. ####
(2)Acts of valor described The acts of valor referred to in paragraph
(1)are the actions of Robert F. Keiser’s on November 30, 1950, as a member of the 2d Military Police Company, 2d Infantry Division, United States Army, during the Division’s successful withdrawal from the Kunuri-Sunchon Pass. ###
(b)Sergeant First Class Patrick N. Watkins, Jr ####
(1)Waiver of time limitations Notwithstanding the time limitations specified in section 3744 of title 10, United States Code, or any other time limitation with respect to the awarding of certain medals to persons who served in the Armed Forces, the Secretary of the Army may award the Distinguished Service Cross under section 3742 of that title to Patrick N. Watkins, Jr., for the acts of valor described in paragraph (2). ####
(2)Acts of valor described The acts of valor referred to in paragraph
(1)are the actions of Sergeant First Class Patrick N. Watkins, Jr., from August 22 to August 23, 1968, as a member of the United States Army serving in the grade of Sergeant First Class in the Republic of Vietnam while serving with Headquarters and Headquarters Company, 5th Special Forces Group (Airborne), 1st Special Forces Regiment. ###
(c)Specialist Four Robert L. Towles ####
(1)Waiver of time limitations Notwithstanding the time limitations specified in section 3744 of title 10, United States Code, or any other time limitation with respect to the awarding of certain medals to persons who served in the Armed Forces, the Secretary of the Army may award the Distinguished Service Cross under section 3742 of that title to Robert L. Towles for the acts of valor described in paragraph (2). ####
(2)Acts of valor described The acts of valor referred to in paragraph
(1)are the actions of Specialist Four Robert L. Towles, on November 17, 1965, as a member of the United States Army serving in the grade of Specialist Four during the Vietnam War while serving in Company D, 2d Battalion, 7th Cavalry, 1st Cavalry Division, for which he was originally awarded the Bronze Star with “V” Device.
