## SEC. 1053 MODIFICATION OF RESPONSIBILITIES AND REPORTING REQUIREMENTS OF NUCLEAR WEAPONS COUNCIL ###
(a)Responsibilities Subsection
(d)of section 179 of title 10, United States Code, is amended— ####
(1)by striking paragraph (10); and ####
(2)by redesignating paragraphs
(11)and
(12)as paragraphs
(10)and (11), respectively. ###
(b)Annual Report Subsection
(g)of such section is amended by adding at the end the following new paragraph: > > #### “(6) > > A description and assessment of the joint efforts of the Secretary of Defense and the Secretary of Energy to develop common security practices that improve the security of the nuclear weapons and facilities of the Department of Defense and the Department of Energy.” > . ###
(c)Technical Amendment Such subsection
(g)is further amended in the matter preceding paragraph
(1)by striking “on the following” and inserting “that includes the following”.
