## SEC. 126 GENERAL AUTHORIZATION **[**[29 U.S.C. 3161](/us/usc/t29/s3161)**]** The Secretary shall make an allotment under section 127(b)(1)(C) to each State that meets the requirements of section 102 or 103 and a grant under section 127(b)(1)(B) to each outlying area that complies with the requirements of this title, to assist the State or outlying area, and to enable the State or outlying area to assist local areas, for the purpose of providing workforce investment activities for eligible youth in the State or outlying area and in the local areas.
