## SEC. 1201 REGIONAL STRATEGIES FOR COMBATING TRAFFICKING IN PERSONS Section 105 of the Trafficking Victims Protection Act of 2000 (22 U.S.C. 7103) is amended— ####
(1)in subsection (d)(7)(J), by striking “section 105(f) of this division” and inserting “subsection (g)”; ####
(2)in subsection (e)(2)— #####
(A)by striking “(2) coordination of certain activities.—” and all that follows through “exploitation.”; #####
(B)by redesignating subparagraph
(B)as paragraph (2), and moving such paragraph, as so redesignated, 2 ems to the left; and #####
(C)by redesignating clauses
(i)and
(ii)as subparagraphs
(A)and (B), respectively, and moving such subparagraphs, as so redesignated, 2 ems to the left; ####
(3)by redesignating subsection
(f)as subsection (g); and ####
(4)by inserting after subsection
(e)the following: > > ### “(f) Regional Strategies for Combating Trafficking in Persons > > Each regional bureau in the Department of State shall contribute to the realization of the anti-trafficking goals and objectives of the Secretary of State. Each year, in cooperation with the Office to Monitor and Combat Trafficking in Persons, each regional bureau shall submit a list of anti-trafficking goals and objectives to the Secretary of State for each country in the geographic area of responsibilities of the regional bureau. Host governments shall be informed of the goals and objectives for their particular country and, to the extent possible, host government officials should be consulted regarding the goals and objectives.” > .
