## SEC. 1004 REDUCING THE RAPE KIT BACKLOG Section 2(c)(3) of the DNA Analysis Backlog Elimination Act of 2000 (42 U.S.C. 14135(c)(3)) is amended— ###

(a)in subparagraph (B), by striking “2014” and inserting “2018”; and ###

(b)by adding at the end the following: > > ##### “(C) > > For each of fiscal years 2014 through 2018, not less than 75 percent of the total grant amounts shall be awarded for a combination of purposes under paragraphs (1), (2), and

(3)of subsection (a).” > .
