## SEC. 1002 ADMINISTRATIVE EXPENSES ###
(a)Authorization of Contract Authority Notwithstanding any other provision of this Act or any other law, there is authorized to be appropriated from the Highway Trust Fund (other than the Mass Transit Account), from amounts provided under section 1001, for administrative expenses of the Federal-aid highway program— ####
(1)$440,000,000 for fiscal year 2015; and ####
(2)$78,142,077 for the period beginning on October 1, 2015, and ending on December 4, 2015. ###
(b)Contract authority Funds authorized to be appropriated by this section shall be— ####
(1)available for obligation, and shall be administered, in the same manner as if such funds were apportioned under chapter 1 of title 23, United States Code, except that such funds shall remain available until expended; and ####
(2)for fiscal year 2015 and for the period beginning on October 1, 2015, and ending on December 4, 2015, subject to the limitations on administrative expenses for the Federal Highway Administration and Appalachian Regional Commission in appropriations Acts that apply, respectively, to that fiscal year and period. ## Subtitle B Extension of Highway Safety Programs
