## SEC. 5 DEBT COLLECTION IMPROVEMENT Section 3716(c)(6) of title 31, United States Code, is amended— ####

(1)by inserting “(A)” before “Any Federal agency”; ####

(2)in subparagraph (A), as so designated, by striking “180 days” and inserting “120 days”; and ####

(3)by adding at the end the following: > > ##### “(B) > > The Secretary of the Treasury shall notify Congress of any instance in which an agency fails to notify the Secretary as required under subparagraph (A).” > .
