## SEC. 211 REVIEW OF LICENSE TRANSFER ###
(a)Requirement for Hearing The Federal Communications Commission shall not approve any assignment or transfer of control of a license held by any corporation identified in subsection
(b)without first holding a full hearing on the record, with notice and opportunity for comment. ###
(b)Applicability Subsection
(a)applies to any corporation holding a television broadcast license, the transfer of which was approved by the Federal Communications Commission on November 14, 1985, and which is a corporation owned or controlled directly or indirectly by a corporation organized pursuant to the Alaska Native Claims Settlement Act (43 U.S.C. 1601 et seq.). ###
(c)Report to Congress The Federal Communications Commission shall submit a report to the Committee on Energy and Commerce of the House of Representatives and the Committee on Commerce, Science, and Transportation of the Senate concerning the proposed transfer 30 days prior to authorizing any such transfer. The report required by this subsection shall include a review of the consistency of such transfer with the Commission's minority ownership policies. ###
(d)Waiver The requirements of subsections
(a)and
(c)shall not apply in any case in which the Native Regional corporation identified in subsection
