## SEC. 1208 EXPENDITURE OF TAXPAYER MONEY ONLY FOR DEPOSIT INSURANCE PURPOSES **[**[12 U.S.C. 1811](/us/usc/t12/s1811) nt.**]** Funds appropriated to the Secretary of the Treasury pursuant to an authorization contained in this Act, and any amount authorized to be borrowed from the Secretary of the Treasury by any entity pursuant to this Act, may only be used as permitted by law, and may not otherwise be used for making any payment to any shareholder in, or creditor to, any insured depository institution. * * * * * * *
