## SEC. 7121 AUDITING, REPORTING, BOOKKEEPING, AND ADMINISTRATIVE REQUIREMENTS Section 1469 of the National Agricultural Research, Extension, and Teaching Policy Act of 1977 (7 U.S.C. 3315) is amended— ####
(1)by redesignating subsections (b), (c), and
(d)as subsections (c), (d), and (e), respectively; and ####
(2)by inserting after subsection
(a)the following new subsection: > > ### “(b) Agreements With Former Agricultural Research Facilities of the Department > > To the maximum extent practicable, the Secretary, for purposes of supporting ongoing research and information dissemination activities, including supporting research and those activities through co-locating scientists and other technical personnel, sharing of laboratory and field equipment, and providing financial support, shall enter into grants, contracts, cooperative agreements, or other legal instruments with former Department of Agriculture agricultural research facilities.” > .
