## SEC. 4013 IMPROVED WAGE VERIFICATION USING THE NATIONAL DIRECTORY OF NEW HIRES Section 11(e) of the Food and Nutrition Act of 2008 (7 U.S.C. 2020(e)) is amended— ####
(1)in paragraph (3), by inserting “and after compliance with the requirement specified in paragraph (24)” after “section 16(e) of this Act”; ####
(2)in paragraph (22), by striking “and” at the end; ####
(3)in paragraph (23)(C), by striking the period at the end and inserting “; and”; and ####
(4)by adding at the end the following: > > #### “(24) > > that the State agency shall request wage data directly from the National Directory of New Hires established under section 453(i) of the Social Security Act (42 U.S.C. 653(i)) relevant to determining eligibility to receive supplemental nutrition assistance program benefits and determining the correct amount of those benefits at the time of certification.” > .
