## SEC. 2207 CONSERVATION INNOVATION GRANTS AND PAYMENTS Section 1240H of the Food Security Act of 1985 (16 U.S.C. 3839aa-8) is amended— ####
(1)in subsection (a)(2)— #####
(A)in subparagraph (C), by striking “; and” and inserting a semicolon; #####
(B)in subparagraph (D), by striking the period and inserting a semicolon; and #####
(C)by adding at the end the following new subparagraphs: > > ##### “(E) > > facilitate on-farm conservation research and demonstration activities; and > > > ##### “(F) > > facilitate pilot testing of new technologies or innovative conservation practices.” > ; ####
(2)in subsection (b)(2)— #####
(A)by striking “$37,500,000” and inserting “$25,000,000”; and #####
(B)by striking “2012” and inserting “2018”; and ####
(3)by adding at the end the following new subsection: > > ### “(c) Reporting > > Not later than December 31, 2014, and every two years thereafter, the Secretary shall submit to the Committee on Agriculture, Nutrition, and Forestry of the Senate and the Committee on Agriculture of the House of Representatives a report on the status of projects funded under this section, including— > > > #### “(1) > > funding awarded; > > > #### “(2) > > project results; and > > > #### “(3) > > incorporation of project findings, such as new technology and innovative approaches, into the conservation efforts implemented by the Secretary.” > .
