## SEC. 232 AUTHORITY TO RESPOND TO PUBLIC INQUIRIES Section 208 of the Foreign Relations Authorization Act, Fiscal Years 1986 and 1987 (22 U.S.C. 1461–1a) is amended by adding at the end the following new sentence: “The provisions of this section shall not prohibit the United States Information Agency from responding to inquiries from members of the public about its operations, policies, or programs.”.
