## SEC. 4217 TRIBAL COURTS, SENTENCING AND FINES To enhance the ability of tribal governments to prevent and penalize the traffic of illegal narcotics on Indian reservations, paragraph
(7)of section 202 of the Act of April 11, 1969 (25 U.S.C. 1302) is amended by striking out “for a term of six months and a fine of $500, or both” and inserting in lieu thereof “for a term of one year and a fine of $5,000, or both”.
