## SEC. 1001 TECHNICAL AMENDMENT Section 339(c) of the Communications Act of 1934 (47 U.S.C. 339(c)) is amended by adding at the end the following new paragraph: > > #### “(5) Definition > > Notwithstanding subsection (d)(4), for purposes of paragraphs
(2)and
(4)of this subsection, the term ‘**satellite carrier**’ includes a distributor (as defined in section 119(d)(1) of title 17, United States Code), but only if the satellite distributor's relationship with the subscriber includes billing, collection, service activation, and service deactivation.” > . * * * * * * *
