## SEC. 245 AUTHORIZATION OF APPROPRIATIONS ###
(a)In General There are authorized to be appropriated to the Department of Labor, for the period beginning October 1, 2001, and ending December 31, 20079, such sums as may be necessary to carry out the purposes of this chapter. 9Paragraph
(3)of section 406(a) of Public Law 114–27 provides that section 245(a) of the Trade Act of 1974 shall be applied and administered by substituting “June 30, 2022” for “December 31, 2007”. ###
(b)Period of Expenditure Funds obligated for any fiscal year to carry out activities under sections 235 through 238 may be expended by each State receiving such funds during that fiscal year and the succeeding two fiscal years. **[**[19 U.S.C. 2317](/us/usc/t19/s2317)**]**
