## Sec. 1377 effective date **[**[42 U.S.C. 4001 note](/us/usc/t42/s4001)**]** This title shall take effect one hundred and twenty days following the date of its enactment,44 except that the Administrator on the basis of a finding that conditions exist necessitating the prescribing of an additional period, may prescribe a later effective date which in no event shall be more than one hundred and eighty days following such date of enactment. 44The date of enactment was August 1, 1968. # TITLE XIV INTERSTATE LAND SALES
