## SEC. 939 QUARTERLY CYBER OPERATIONS BRIEFINGS ###
(a)Briefings Chapter 23 of title 10, United States Code, is amended by inserting after section 483 the following new section: > > ## “SEC. 484 Quarterly cyber operations briefings > > **[**[10 U.S.C. 484](/us/usc/t10/s484)**]** > > “The Secretary of Defense shall provide to the Committees on Armed Services of the House of Representatives and the Senate quarterly briefings on all offensive and significant defensive military operations in cyberspace carried out by the Department of Defense during the immediately preceding quarter.” > . ###
(b)Initial Briefing **[**[10 U.S.C. 484 note](/us/usc/t10/s484)**]** The first briefing required under section 484 of title 10, United States Code, as added by subsection (a), shall be provided not later than March 1, 2013. ###
(c)Clerical Amendment The table of sections at the beginning of chapter 23 of title 10, United States Code, is amended by inserting after the item relating to section 483 the following new item:" “484. Quarterly cyber operations briefings.” ".
